Dragon Chef — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Dragon Chef (Android package com.Snap.Chef) is an app that turns a photo of a dish into a recipe using artificial intelligence. The data controller is the developer of Dragon Chef, based in Florence, Italy, reachable at kitwer26@zohomail.eu.

This policy explains what data the app processes, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Account

• Email address and the display name you choose.
• Your password, stored only as a salted scrypt hash — we never store or see it in clear text.
• Account creation and last sign-in dates, and technical session records (for example the device's user agent) used to keep you signed in.

Dragon Chef uses email and password only. There is no Google, Apple or Facebook sign-in.

2.2 Content you create

• Dish photos you take or pick from your gallery. A photo is sent to our AI provider to generate the recipe, and is stored together with the resulting recipe so you can see it again.
• The generated recipes you keep: dish name, ingredients, steps, times, portions, estimated cost and nutrition values.
• Collections, community posts and their captions, and reports you file about other users' posts.
• Optional profile details you choose to add, such as a short bio and a city. The city is text you type: the app never reads your location.

2.3 Activity in the app

• Number of scans, streak, level, achievements and the badges you share — used for the leaderboard and gamification.
• Referral invitations you send or accept.
• Rewarded-video unlocks you earned.
• Clicks on shopping links for ingredients (ingredient, store and destination link), so we can see which links are useful.

2.4 Notifications

If you enable notifications, we store a push token for your device, your notification preferences and the list of notifications sent to you.

2.5 Purchases

Subscriptions are sold through Google Play Billing. We receive a purchase token, the plan and the period it covers, which we check with Google to activate Dragon Chef Pro. We never receive your card or payment details.

2.6 What we do not collect

• No GPS or precise location.
• No access to contacts, calendar or microphone.
• The camera is used only when you start a scan; the gallery only for the photo you choose.

3. How we use your data

We do not use your photos or recipes to train AI models, and we do not sell personal data.

4. Service providers

We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf to run the app:

• Supabase — database, photo storage and backend, hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
• OpenRouter — routes each dish photo to the AI model that generates the recipe. The photo is sent for that single request.
• Google — Google Play Billing for subscriptions, Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications, and Google AdMob for ads (see section 5).
• Vercel — hosts this website and the pages opened by shared links.

Content visible to others

• Community posts, public collections and your display name on the leaderboard are visible to other users.
• A post shared with a public link can be opened by anyone who has the link, even without an account.
• Dish photos are stored at addresses that are not listed publicly but that can be opened by anyone who has the exact link.

We disclose data to authorities only when required by a valid legal order.

5. Advertising

On the free plan Dragon Chef shows banner, interstitial and optional rewarded-video ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process your device's advertising ID, IP address and technical device information under Google's own policies.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and turn off ad personalisation, from Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads depending on the device). With Dragon Chef Pro no ads are shown.

6. Retention

• Account, recipes, collections, posts, activity, notification and subscription records: kept while your account exists, and deleted when you delete it (section 11).
• Sessions: until you sign out or they expire, and in any case when the account is deleted.
• Dish photo files: kept with the recipe they belong to. Deleting your account removes the recipe records that point to them; to also have the photo files erased from storage, write to us and we will do it within 30 days.
• Reports you filed about other users' posts: may be kept for moderation, no longer linked to your account.
• Google Play keeps its own purchase records under Google's policies.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask us to:

• access your data and receive a copy in a portable format;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your data;
• restrict or object to processing;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

Write to kitwer26@zohomail.eu; we reply within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

8. Children

Dragon Chef is not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their data; if you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Security

• All connections between the app and our servers use HTTPS.
• Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you as required by law in case of a breach.

10. International transfers

Our database and storage are in the European Union. Some providers — OpenRouter, the AI model providers it routes to, and Google — may process data outside the EU, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable.

11. Account deletion

From the app

1. Open Dragon Chef and go to Settings.
2. In the Danger zone section tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm with your password.

Without the app

Write to kitwer26@zohomail.eu from the email address of your account, with the subject “Account deletion”. We will delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account and every record linked to it: profile, recipes, collections, community posts, scans, streak and achievements, referrals, rewarded unlocks, shopping-link clicks, notification data and device tokens, subscription records and active sessions. Dish photo files and retained data are described in section 6.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the latest version.

Questa informativa spiega quali dati tratta l'app, perché, chi ci aiuta a trattarli e quali scelte hai.

2. Dati raccolti

2.1 Account

• Indirizzo email e nome visualizzato che scegli.
• La password, conservata solo come hash scrypt con sale: non la memorizziamo né la vediamo mai in chiaro.
• Date di creazione e ultimo accesso, e i dati tecnici di sessione (per esempio lo user agent del dispositivo) che servono a mantenerti connesso.

Dragon Chef usa solo email e password. Non c'è accesso con Google, Apple o Facebook.

2.2 Contenuti che crei

• Foto dei piatti che scatti o scegli dalla galleria. La foto viene inviata al nostro fornitore di IA per generare la ricetta e viene conservata insieme alla ricetta, così puoi rivederla.
• Le ricette generate che conservi: nome del piatto, ingredienti, passaggi, tempi, porzioni, costo stimato e valori nutrizionali.
• Raccolte, post della community con le relative didascalie, e le segnalazioni che invii sui post di altri utenti.
• Dettagli facoltativi del profilo che scegli di aggiungere, come una breve bio e una città. La città è un testo che scrivi tu: l'app non legge mai la tua posizione.

2.3 Attività nell'app

• Numero di scansioni, serie di giorni consecutivi, livello, obiettivi e badge condivisi, usati per classifica e gamification.
• Gli inviti referral che invii o accetti.
• Gli sblocchi ottenuti guardando video a premio.
• I clic sui link d'acquisto degli ingredienti (ingrediente, negozio e link di destinazione), per capire quali link sono utili.

2.4 Notifiche

Se attivi le notifiche, conserviamo il token push del dispositivo, le tue preferenze e l'elenco delle notifiche inviate.

2.5 Acquisti

Gli abbonamenti sono venduti tramite Google Play Billing. Riceviamo un token d'acquisto, il piano e il periodo coperto, che verifichiamo con Google per attivare Dragon Chef Pro. Non riceviamo mai i dati della tua carta o del pagamento.

2.6 Cosa non raccogliamo

• Nessuna posizione GPS o precisa.
• Nessun accesso a contatti, calendario o microfono.
• La fotocamera si usa solo quando avvii una scansione; la galleria solo per la foto che scegli.

3. Come usiamo i dati

Non usiamo le tue foto o ricette per addestrare modelli di IA e non vendiamo dati personali.

4. Fornitori di servizi

Condividiamo i dati solo con fornitori che li trattano per nostro conto per far funzionare l'app:

• Supabase — database, archiviazione delle foto e backend, ospitati nell'Unione Europea (Francoforte, Germania).
• OpenRouter — instrada ogni foto al modello di IA che genera la ricetta. La foto viene inviata per quella sola richiesta.
• Google — Google Play Billing per gli abbonamenti, Firebase Cloud Messaging per recapitare le notifiche push e Google AdMob per la pubblicità (vedi sezione 5).
• Vercel — ospita questo sito e le pagine aperte dai link condivisi.

Contenuti visibili ad altri

• I post della community, le raccolte pubbliche e il tuo nome visualizzato in classifica sono visibili agli altri utenti.
• Un post condiviso con link pubblico può essere aperto da chiunque abbia il link, anche senza account.
• Le foto dei piatti sono archiviate a indirizzi non elencati pubblicamente, ma apribili da chiunque abbia il link esatto.

Comunichiamo dati alle autorità solo quando richiesto da un ordine legale valido.

5. Pubblicità

Nel piano gratuito Dragon Chef mostra annunci banner, interstitial e video a premio facoltativi tramite Google AdMob. Per mostrare e misurare gli annunci Google può trattare l'ID pubblicità del dispositivo, l'indirizzo IP e informazioni tecniche sul dispositivo secondo le norme di Google.

Puoi reimpostare o eliminare l'ID pubblicità e disattivare la personalizzazione degli annunci dalle impostazioni di Android (Impostazioni → Google → Annunci, oppure Impostazioni → Privacy → Annunci a seconda del dispositivo). Con Dragon Chef Pro non viene mostrata pubblicità.

6. Conservazione

• Account, ricette, raccolte, post, attività, notifiche e dati di abbonamento: conservati finché esiste l'account e cancellati quando lo elimini (sezione 11).
• Sessioni: fino al logout o alla scadenza, e comunque all'eliminazione dell'account.
• File delle foto: conservati con la ricetta a cui appartengono. Eliminando l'account si cancellano le ricette che vi puntano; per far rimuovere anche i file delle foto dall'archivio scrivici e lo faremo entro 30 giorni.
• Segnalazioni che hai inviato sui post di altri: possono essere conservate per la moderazione, non più collegate al tuo account.
• Google Play conserva i propri registri degli acquisti secondo le norme di Google.

7. I tuoi diritti

In base al GDPR e alle leggi analoghe puoi chiederci di:

• accedere ai tuoi dati e riceverne una copia in formato portabile;
• rettificare i dati inesatti;
• cancellare i tuoi dati;
• limitare il trattamento od opporti;
• revocare il consenso in ogni momento, senza pregiudicare il trattamento precedente.

Scrivi a kitwer26@zohomail.eu: rispondiamo entro 30 giorni. Puoi anche proporre reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

8. Minori

Dragon Chef non è rivolta ai minori di 14 anni. Non raccogliamo consapevolmente i loro dati; se ritieni che un minore abbia creato un account, scrivici e lo elimineremo.

9. Sicurezza

• Tutte le connessioni fra l'app e i nostri server usano HTTPS.
• Le password sono conservate solo come hash con sale.

Nessun sistema è sicuro al 100%, ma lavoriamo per proteggere i tuoi dati e ti informeremo come previsto dalla legge in caso di violazione.

10. Trasferimenti internazionali

Database e archivio si trovano nell'Unione Europea. Alcuni fornitori (OpenRouter, i fornitori dei modelli di IA a cui instrada le richieste, e Google) possono trattare dati fuori dall'UE, anche negli Stati Uniti. Questi trasferimenti si basano sulle Clausole Contrattuali Standard della Commissione Europea o sull'EU–US Data Privacy Framework, a seconda dei casi.

11. Eliminazione dell'account

Dall'app

1. Apri Dragon Chef e vai in Impostazioni.
2. Nella sezione Zona pericolosa tocca Elimina il mio account.
3. Conferma con la tua password.

Senza l'app

Scrivi a kitwer26@zohomail.eu dall'indirizzo email del tuo account, con oggetto «Eliminazione account». Elimineremo l'account entro 30 giorni.

Cosa viene cancellato

L'account e ogni dato collegato: profilo, ricette, raccolte, post della community, scansioni, serie e obiettivi, referral, sblocchi a premio, clic sui link d'acquisto, dati e token delle notifiche, dati di abbonamento e sessioni attive. File delle foto e dati conservati sono descritti nella sezione 6.

12. Modifiche

Possiamo aggiornare questa informativa. La data in alto indica sempre la versione più recente.
